The Cornish town of Newquay is home to some of the Surfing Beaches in Europe along with many water sports competitions inclining the Boardmasters festival, which has now grown hugely over the years.
Getting to Newquay can be done by car, air, and train with the town is connected to the rest of the country by the branch train line from Par stopping finally at Penzance. Most people, however, to come into Cornwall via the M5 then the A30, a one hour drive from the main motor way.
